Sometimes it is hard to be with yourself when the heavy thoughts arise, it is uncomfortable. Don’t suppress them; instead, try to talk it out with someone. Sharing with a trusted friend, family member, or even a therapist can help you let out feelings that are bothering you. It is hard to sit with yourself when the heaviness comes, but that does not mean you need to deal with it alone. Try to confide in others who make you feel safe enough to do so.

When I walk, I feel much calmer and can help understand myself when it comes to heavy feelings.

Shifting your focus to something fun helps quiet the inner talks that you don’t want to hear.
