Why too much caffeine is bad for you?
Before sharing the remedies, you need to know why to avoid caffeine in the mornings.
Caffeine is a natural stimulant that is mostly found in tea, coffee, chocolates, energy bars, sodas, etc. Many people rely heavily on it to get through their day, making it the most common way of “staying active”.
So, around 400 mg of caffeine is considered safe for an adult according to Mayo Clinic. That is around 4 cups of brewed coffee, which seems okay for a healthy adult to consume. Taking caffeine to stay active is okay, but making it a lifestyle can cause some negative effects on the body. Some of them are
- You might lose your sleep
- It turns into an addiction if not taken in moderation
- You will have urges to pee more frequently
- High caffeine in your blood can lead to high blood pressure, irregular heart beats
- Extra caffeine in your body can make space for stress and anxiety
- It causes dehydration
Having an energy drink can help you achieve your goals of the day but, relying on it and making it a habit doesn’t only make you dependent on it but also harm you.
